Sustainability
Operating in a world increasingly focused on compliance with sustainability principles and in an industry, such as life sciences, marked by continuous evolution and stringent regulatory rules, the company's sustainability strategy plays a key role in investment and development choices.
In 2023, AM released its first integrated report, which provides an overview of the results and initiatives taken in its growth journey with sustainability at its core.
The report consists of an introductory part that offers a wide-ranging description of the company (General Overview), reporting on specific activities with regard to the three main ESG pillars: Environment, Social and Governance, and the Annual Report 2023.

Management Model and Code of Ethics
We have developed and adopted our own Code of Ethics and an Organization and Management Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 in order to prevent illegal conduct within the company.
Whistleblowing
With a view to regulatory compliance, both national and European, we have implemented a corporate channel for reporting irregularities, conduct or illegal behavior to the relevant bodies, with appropriate guarantees of anonymity and maximum confidentiality.

La parità di genere è un valore che in AM ci impegniamo a coltivare in modo concreto, attraverso momenti di ascolto, formazione e confronto dedicati. Con questo spirito è nato Leader-SHE, un progetto rivolto a tutte le donne di AM e realizzato in collaborazione con Fondazione Libellula, con l’obiettivo di promuovere l’empowerment femminile all’interno della nostra realtà.
Attraverso incontri in presenza, sono stati affrontati temi centrali come l’autostima e la fiducia in sé stesse, la comunicazione assertiva, la consapevolezza emotiva e il coraggio di agire.
Leader-SHE è stata un’occasione per mettersi in gioco, condividere esperienze e riflettere sul valore delle differenze che ogni donna può portare in azienda. Un’opportunità preziosa per ripensare il ruolo femminile nel mondo del lavoro e promuovere modelli di leadership più inclusivi, autentici e consapevoli.
Un piccolo passo, insieme, verso un’organizzazione più equa, solida e partecipata.
Serenis: mens sana in corporate sana
Grazie alla partnership con Serenis, piattaforma online per il benessere mentale, AM rende disponibili percorsi di psicoterapia per i propri dipendenti.
Con questa convenzione l’azienda mette a disposizione 5 sedute gratuite di psicoterapia individuale e sedute a un prezzo agevolato.
Le sedute di psicoterapia non solo mirano a supportare l’equilibrio emotivo, ma offrono anche opportunità per sviluppare competenze chiave che possono migliorare significativamente la vita quotidiana.
L’obiettivo di AM è supportare le sue persone anche dal punto di vista della salute e della felicità complessiva: la terapia potrebbe avere un impatto positivo sulla vita personale e professionale e cambiare il modo di vedere le cose.
La collaborazione con Serenis, oltre alle sedute di psicoterapia, prevede 12 webinar, uno al mese, su temi legati al benessere mentale.

(S)put it here!
In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, AM recently activated the "(S)put it here!" project.
Every cigarette butt collected within our "Smoker Points" will be recycled through the process of Re-Cig-the first and only licensed cigarette butt collection company in Europe-and transformed into plastic material that can be used for various applications.
In addition to being an aesthetic problem, cigarette filters contain a number of chemicals, many of which are toxic to ecosystems. When a butt is thrown on the ground and carried by rain and wind, it ends up in our seas and oceans, taking 2 to 12 years to fully degrade. During this process, it releases microplastics and nanoplastics into our marine environment, further contributing to the contamination of our ecosystem.
Sustainable events
The environmental issue is a daily challenge that we also want to address in the organization of our events. From our biannual internal meetings, Winter and Summer GAME, to our RTF - Ride the Future days, we take the opportunity to offset emissions through our partnership with Up2You.
Making our events carbon neutral means calculating their environmental impact and defining a strategy to reduce emissions, and then offsetting those that cannot be reduced by supporting certified environmental projects.
AM has directed its efforts to Italy, specifically the Dogà Valley, a fishing valley located below sea level, which requires continuous water changes; and the Cà Pisani Valley, a fishing valley also located below sea level, near the Po Delta.

Green energy
In line with our environmental sustainability goals, we are committed to reducing our impact on energy consumption from nonrenewable sources. In this direction, in 2024 we built the first photovoltaic system at our Cesano Maderno (MB) headquarters, a solar energy self-generation project that represents a significant step toward reducing the environmental impact of our production.
