Sustainability
Operating in a world increasingly focused on compliance with sustainability principles and in an industry, such as life sciences, marked by continuous evolution and stringent regulatory rules, the company's sustainability strategy plays a key role in investment and development choices.
In 2023, AM released its first integrated report, which provides an overview of the results and initiatives taken in its growth journey with sustainability at its core.
The report consists of an introductory part that offers a wide-ranging description of the company (General Overview), reporting on specific activities with regard to the three main ESG pillars: Environment, Social and Governance, and the Annual Report 2023.

Governance
We manage our activities with transparency, integrity, inclusiveness and legality, in compliance with the laws and guidelines inherent in social responsibility.
Management Model and Code of Ethics
We have developed and adopted our own Code of Ethics and an Organization and Management Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 in order to prevent illegal conduct within the company.
Whistleblowing
With a view to regulatory compliance, both national and European, we have implemented a corporate channel for reporting irregularities, conduct or illegal behavior to the relevant bodies, with appropriate guarantees of anonymity and maximum confidentiality.
People

We are committed to implementing energy efficiency and emission offset policies to support the care of our planet on a daily basis. Preserving and protecting the environment drives our business choices.

We consider it a priority to offer quality products and services. The company, which is already ISO 9001:2015 certified, implements a GMP Consistent® program with the goal of nullifying the distance between customer and supplier, creating a synergy of operating methods, objectives and results.

for the social
AIDel2022
The nonprofit organization reaches out to Chromosome 22 deletion patients, their families, the scientific community, and the public to inform, support clinical research, and promote the social inclusion of people with this rare genetic syndrome.
Italian Association to Fight Neuroblastoma
Founded in 1993 on the initiative of some parents of sick children and cancer doctors at the "G.Gaslini" Institute in Genoa, it aims to give hope of life to young children suffering from this pediatric cancer and provide support for scientific research.
Cadom
A protected and nonjudgmental space for women. At the Cadom center, every woman experiencing violence can find listening, information, support and confrontation from other women, so she can face and overcome difficult times without ever being alone.
FAI
Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano is a nonprofit foundation established in 1975, modeled after the National Trust, with the aim of protecting and enhancing Italy's historical, artistic and landscape heritage.
Dragonfly Foundation
The Dragonfly Foundation promotes the culture of beauty to prevent and counter all forms of violence against women and gender discrimination. Equity, harmony of ties, respect for every human being, attention to the little things: these are the values we strive to spread in every context.

Pane Quotidiano ONLUS is a secular, apolitical, nonprofit organization founded in Milan in 1898. Its goal is to ensure basic groceries to those in need; every day, free of charge.

PlayMore is a Nonprofit organization established in 2010 that promotes sports as a source of extraordinary energy to improve the lives of individuals and the lives of communities, with a focus on people in fragile conditions.
Live down
The Vivi Down Onlus Association, founded in 1988, works on a daily basis to provide people with Down syndrome and their families with the tools to support the difficulties that disability brings.

for the environment
(S)put it here!
In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, AM recently activated the "(S)put it here!" project.
Every cigarette butt collected within our "Smoker Points" will be recycled through the process of Re-Cig-the first and only licensed cigarette butt collection company in Europe-and transformed into plastic material that can be used for various applications.
In addition to being an aesthetic problem, cigarette filters contain a number of chemicals, many of which are toxic to ecosystems. When a butt is thrown on the ground and carried by rain and wind, it ends up in our seas and oceans, taking 2 to 12 years to fully degrade. During this process, it releases microplastics and nanoplastics into our marine environment, further contributing to the contamination of our ecosystem.
Sustainable events
The environmental issue is a daily challenge that we also want to address in the organization of our events. From our biannual internal meetings, Winter and Summer GAME, to our RTF - Ride the Future days, we take the opportunity to offset emissions through our partnership with Up2You.
Making our events carbon neutral means calculating their environmental impact and defining a strategy to reduce emissions, and then offsetting those that cannot be reduced by supporting certified environmental projects.
AM has directed its efforts to Italy, specifically the Dogà Valley, a fishing valley located below sea level, which requires continuous water changes; and the Cà Pisani Valley, a fishing valley also located below sea level, near the Po Delta.

Green energy
In line with our environmental sustainability goals, we are committed to reducing our impact on energy consumption from nonrenewable sources. In this direction, in 2024 we built the first photovoltaic system at our Cesano Maderno (MB) headquarters, a solar energy self-generation project that represents a significant step toward reducing the environmental impact of our production.
