energy saving

For AM, saving energy also comes through small gestures.

For the first time since joining the schülke Group, AM has brought together stakeholders, partners, and experts to share its achievements and a new vision: growth, sustainability, innovation, and people, all moving in the same direction.

On September 17, we hosted our Stakeholder Meeting, an opportunity for dialogue and discussion that held special significance this year: to present AM in its new international capacity and to highlight the opportunities that arise from being part of the schülke Group.

The message at the heart of the event is clear: building the future means looking beyond economic performance alone. It means understanding changes in the market, society, and technology and transforming them into opportunities for responsible and sustainable growth.

A New Chapter of Growth

The meeting was opened by Roberto Fossati, Board Member, and Patric Sheidner, the new Chairman & CEO, who introduced AM’s new phase and the opportunities arising from the convergence of diverse expertise, markets, and experiences.

The 2025 results confirmed the company’s strength and its ability to grow, invest, and compete. Revenue and financial performance were viewed from a broader perspective: growth also means being more resilient and generating value over the long term.

A comprehensive overview of the state of businesses and their growth potential was provided by Stefano Valvason, General Manager of A.P.I., Giovanni Foresti of the Intesa Sanpaolo Research Center, and Silvia Clement of Chiesi, with a detailed analysis focused on the life sciences sector.

During the presentation of the 2025 ESG results, Cristina Masciola, AM’s ESG Manager, reiterated a key principle: sustainability and business performance are part of the same strategy.

Environmental responsibility, efficient use of resources and energy, a focus on materials, governance, ethics, and people’s well-being all contribute to building a more robust and socially responsible business model. Sustainability thus goes beyond reporting and compliance to become a driver of competitiveness and value creation in the life sciences sector, where ESG expectations and new market drivers are redefining priorities and development models.

People, Technology, and Innovation

A significant part of the day focused on how we will work and innovate in the future, with a presentation by Emanuele Airoldi (MMN). The discussion on Artificial Intelligence explored how new technologies can help analyze information, support decision-making, improve processes, and create value. Technology is at its best when it enhances people’s capabilities without replacing their creativity, expertise, responsibility, and judgment.

That is why people remain at the heart of the strategy. Marco Orsi, HR Manager at AM, explained how talent development, inclusivity, and social impact reflect a view of the individual that goes beyond their professional role: everyone brings unique skills, experiences, aspirations, and perspectives. Putting them at the center means creating the conditions for this wealth of talent to be expressed, to grow, and to contribute to innovation.

Sharing knowledge creates new opportunities, as Steve Brown, Chief Technology Officer at schülke, pointed out: being part of an international network makes it possible to bring together technical expertise, market knowledge, and customer needs, transforming the diversity of experiences into a catalyst for innovation.

A Look Toward 2030

The closing session brought together the day’s topics from a long-term perspective: growth ambitions, investments, strategic priorities, AM’s role within the schülke Group, and the roadmap toward 2030.

As Patric Sheidner noted, joining the Group is not a point of arrival, but the beginning of a new journey. AM will be able to leverage its strengths and, at the same time, rely on a broader international platform to develop projects, expertise, and opportunities. The challenge will be to transform this potential into tangible value for customers, employees, partners, communities, and stakeholders.

September 17 was not just a time to share results, but an opportunity to look ahead—together. Because building the future doesn’t just mean being ready for change—it means creating the conditions to turn it into an opportunity.
