The GEW 888 neo is a GMP-compliant washing machine from the Getinge series Getinge for pharmaceutical manufacturing in cleanroom with limited space: it has a footprint of 1.3 m², validated and repeatable cycles, and complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11.

Single-Pass Final Rinse (SPFR)

In GMP applications, the final rinse determines the quality of the result.
The SPFR system integrated into the GEW 888 neo uses purified water without recirculation: each rinse starts with clean water, not water that has already been in contact with the parts being washed. The risk of residual contamination is prevented at the source, rather than managed after the fact.

Flexible and configurable, the SPFR system can be used both as a final rinse to remove residual contamination and as a first rinse to reduce the bioburden.
The Single Pass cycle can be repeated multiple times, depending on validation requirements, while consistently maintaining low water consumption.

COMPACT FOOTPRINT

1.3 m² total footprint, automatic vertical sliding door (does not add height), compatible with low ceilings and existing layouts. The 480-liter chamber maintains its load capacity without sacrificing cleanroom floor space.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Control systems compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11, with a choice between Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs, depending on the customer’s compliance requirements. Support for IQ/OQ/PQ qualification and data integrity strategies.

PROCESS REPEATABILITY

Automatic control of the four parameters of the Sinner Circle: time, temperature, mechanical action, and chemical concentration. Cycles are identical every time, regardless of the operator or shift.

IO-LINK CONNECTIVITY

Direct integration with existing IIoT systems. Remote monitoring of process parameters, advanced diagnostics, and faster commissioning. Compatible with the plant’s existing automation infrastructure.

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

HEPA drying system with optional heat exchanger: reduces the load on the facility’s HVAC system and lowers energy consumption per cycle. Dead legs ≤ 2D, AISI 316L piping with Ra ≤ 0.5 µm for ASME BPE compliance.

VALIDATION SUPPORT

Comprehensive technical documentation, qualification protocols, and compliance management tools are available to support implementation activities. The AM team works closely with the customer at every stage: evaluation, installation, and qualification.
