If you are at risk of falls or seizures, or if you have serious medical conditions such as heart conditions, consult your doctor before using Apple Vision Pro. If you are pregnant or have pre-existing medical conditions, such as migraines, eye or vision disorders, inner ear disorders, or psychological conditions, be aware that using Apple Vision Pro or certain experiences may exacerbate symptoms or increase the risk of injury or discomfort. If you experience symptoms that may be related to pregnancy or a medical condition, stop using the device and consult your doctor before resuming use.
General Terms and Conditions
Apple Vision Pro does not detect all obstacles or conditions peculiar to your surroundings. Before using the device while standing or moving, pay attention to furniture and other obstacles, pets and children. If necessary, remove obstacles. Immersive experiences or loss of power from the device will block the ability to see. Avoid situations and obstacles that could cause the power cord to disconnect. Remove Apple Vision Pro immediately if the system loses power.
Surrounding environment
During use, always keep your surroundings and body posture in mind. Apple Vision Pro is designed to be used in controlled and safe areas on a flat surface. Do not use it near stairs, balconies, railings, glass, mirrors, sharp objects, sources of excessive heat, windows or other hazards. Never use Apple Vision Pro while riding a moving vehicle, bicycle, heavy machinery or in any other situation that requires attention to safety. Using the device
in low-light conditions may increase the risk of collision with objects in the environment.
Customized adaptation
Make sure the Apple Vision Pro fits correctly. A proper fit, using the correct Light Seal and band, is important to ensure a comfortable and safe experience with the device. If you require vision correction, you must wear contact lenses or purchase compatible ZEISS optical inserts, as glasses are not compatible with the device. Using the device while wearing facial jewelry may increase the risk of injury. After turning on Apple Vision Pro, you should see a single clear image of your surroundings and content. The device has interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment, which requires you to hold down the digital crown to adjust the lenses. Release the digital crown to stop the movement if you feel contact with your nose.
Proper fitting and adjustment of Apple Vision Pro is important to maximize safety and comfort while using the device.
Exposure to radio frequencies
Apple Vision Pro uses radio signals to connect to wireless networks. For information about radio frequency (RF) energy from radio signals and steps you can take to minimize your exposure, go to Settings > General > Legal & Regulatory > RF Exposure, or visit the site at regulatoryinfo.apple.com/rfexposure.
Radio frequency interference
Observe signs and notices prohibiting or restricting the use of electronic devices. Although the Apple Vision Pro has been designed, tested, and manufactured in accordance with regulations governing radio frequency emissions, such emissions from the device may adversely affect the operation
of other electronic equipment, causing it to malfunction. When use is prohibited, such as during air travel, or when required by authorities, turn off Apple Vision Pro, or use Airplane Mode or Settings > Wi-Fi and Settings > Bluetooth to turn off Apple Vision Pro's wireless transmitters.
Interferences with medical devices
Apple Vision Pro and its battery contain magnets, components, and radios that emit electromagnetic fields. These magnets and electromagnetic fields
could interfere with medical devices.
Consult your physician and the medical device manufacturer for specific information about your medical device and the need to maintain a safe distance of between your medical device and Apple Vision Pro and its battery. Manufacturers often provide recommendations on the safe use of their medical devices near wireless or magnetic products to avoid possible interference. If you suspect that Apple Vision Pro or its battery is interfering with your medical device, stop using Apple Vision Pro.
Medical devices such as pacemakers and implanted defibrillators may contain sensors that respond to magnets and radio when in close contact. To avoid any potential interaction with these medical devices, keep the Apple Vision Pro and its battery at a safe distance from the medical device (more than 6 inches/15 cm, but consult your physician and the device manufacturer for specific directions).
